The importance of Consent

Consent for any sexual activity is the centerpiece for preventing sexual coercion and unwanted sexual behavior. Therefore, consent can and should be incorporated as an essential and fun part of sexual communication. Likewise, it is a vital component of mutual pleasure and healthy sexuality.

No Consent

CONSENT is freely given, knowledgeable and informed agreement obtained without the use offorce, duress, coercion, deception, fraud, concealment or artifice. Both parties should not be under the heavy influence of alcohol or drugs. If neither party can provide consent with a clear, willing mind, then the pursuit of and sexual activity is sexual assault. 

Confiding in another 

For many sexual assault victims, being able to confide in a trusted individual is important in giving them the ability to take critical action or seek medical attention. Without the support of others, many sexual assault victims struggle to get the help their need. By making amends to policies and laws, sexual assault victims are given more options to get help. No one should ever have to be afraid to ask for help.

My American Dream: A Human Trafficking Story

This emotional performance offers and introspective look into the horrors of human trafficking through the point of view of a victim. The audience witnesses how manipulation and exploitation captures and traps youth and other people into this horrific system. 

No Words

An emotional and immersive performance showcasing the aftermath of a sexual assault, even with the most unlikely and understanding of perpetrators. This presentation allows the audience to see what it's like to be in the characters' shoes and unpack the roles of the survivor, perpetrator, friends, and bystanders when it comes to an incident of sexual assault and the culture that allows it.
